I'll never understand the market. I put a number of figures on ebay recently all of which have sold. Apart from this one:

To my mind he was far and away the best of those on offer. He didn't cost any more than the rest and was not the only winterised German. He's now on his third ebay rotation and steadfastly refuses to attract a bid or two.

I am genuinely curious as to why this might be the case. I guess I might be biased but why might he be such a wallflower?


  1. I have had a similar experience with Ebay and two vikings from 40 that refused to be rehomed after 3 listing I gave up and will put them up in a month or so!!

    I think it is just a case of demand at times, and I am never surprised by what things fetch

  2. I think the fact he is in winter gear will put people off they will happily use normal uniformed guys on a winter field but a winter uniform stands out too much on any other board.
    He is stunningly painted but for a buyer you have to stick with stuff they can use all the time.
    Hope he goes soon though
